Confirmation
Gloria Dei offers confirmation classes for students seventh grade and above.
For the next six weeks, Vicar Robinson will be teaching the 8th grade
confirmation classes. Pastor Bugg and Diane Congrove are teaching the 7th
grade class. Pastor Freeborn is the Pastoral Leader for both classes.
The first year class is an overview of the Bible. The second year uses Luthers Small Catechism to explore and apply the basics of our Christian faith. These classes prepare participants to become adult members of the church.

Bethel Bible Series
This course is a 2-year study of the entire Bible with the first year devoted to the Old Testament and the second
year centered on the New Testament. Classes will be held on Wednesdays at
6:00pm. The Bethel Series aims to lead students to greater knowledge of the Bible and to equip them with
understandings of what God says in his word. These
classes, taught by Reverie Rowlett, are open to those who have completed the Old
Testament series.

Daybreakers
This womens Bible Study, lead by Pastor Stowe, meets the 1st
and 3rd Tuesdays at Oasis
Restaurant on Kecoughtan Rd. 7-8 a.m.
The group is
currently studying the book of John. Discussion, breakfast, and fellowship
are great ways to begin the day!

Mens Breakfast Group
Fellowship, Bible reflection, and a delicious breakfast are all parts of the morning as Pastor Stowe
leads men in discussion of a selected book of the Bible. The sessions are
currently studying the book of Acts. Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th
Tuesdays from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. at Oasis Restaurant on Kecoughtan Road.

Fellowship Bible Study
Fellowship Bible Study is open to men and women and is
currently studying "Jesus Ministry: A Portrait of God". The discussion, led by Paula Jones, begins at 10:00 each
Tuesday
morning in the Pastoral Leadership Center. The group uses Augsburg Adult Bible Study
lessons that are independent of one another. Visitors are welcome at any time!

Midweek Bible Study
Derry Mace gathers a group each Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. for Bible Study in room 104. This is an open and
inquiring group whose aim is to become more
familiar with the Bible and its application for daily living. Childcare is
available in the Church nursery.
